ANTICA at the Mobile World Congress 2010

alt

ANTICA will present its solutions for the mobile industry at the Mobile World Congress 2010 (Barcelona, February 15-18). With a focus on solutions for the Mobile Internet (3.5G), ANTICA will present its products, SESS, PayBridge and SmartRouter. These are focused on increasing revenue for mobile operators, and developing models based on prepayment. These products complement solutions that ANTICA has provided for more than seven years for CableModem, WiFi and xDSL.

This year, own flagship product will be our Antica Convergent Policy Manager, that allow service providers to manage the traffic policies that are applied to subscribers, and that works with multi-vendor DPI devices, or acts as a PCRF when the network support a 3GPP PCC architecture.

We hope to see you soon, at stand 2G20 (Hall 2-1) at the Mobile World Congress!

SmartRouter, a low-budget HotSpot solution

The ANTICA SmartRouter lets UMTS, xDSL and DOCSIS operators deploy WiFi infrastructure at low cost and high versatility.

The SR-3G2 SmartRouter is a small 3G/WiFi router that works with any wireless modem (UMTS or CDMA2000) through a USB interface, which can be extended up to a hundred metres from the Access Point.

The SmartRouter is controlled in a centralized manner through SESS, allowing the mobile operator to offer the same set of access services (postpay, prepay) through the mobile network as well as through WiFi.

Prepaid 3G Internet

Designed to let mobile operators offer 3G Internet to prepay subscribers, the SESS 3G platform integrates the mobile access network with the operator's prepay platforms, allowing to offer navigation controlled by hours, days or months.

Each time the subscriber accesses the mobile network, he or she is captured in a selection portal, where an access product must be purchased. Having done this, the user can navigate freely according to the rules of the product. Once the product expires, the subscriber is once more taken to the purchase portal.

ANTICA releases SESS PB 16k platform

ANTICA releases its 3G prepayment solution, designed for high volume operators

This solution is based on a Carrier-class, multi-slot chassis that allows the integration of modules for capture, business logic, persistence and control.

Our new platform simplifies the deployment process, as it encapsulates traffic between modules in a single device, making it easy to set up and upgrade.

SESS PB 16k can grow to hold up to 16 processing modules per chassis, an to incorporate up to 3 separate switching fabrics. If redundancy is a must, 6 switching fabrics can be incorporated into the device to ensure no single point of failure is present,
